Located in Salt Ash, NSW, this thriving club continues to go above and beyond for its members, creating opportunities, building skills and fostering an incredible community atmosphere.
Salt Ash Pony Club has recently focused on:
With around 40 riding members ranging in age from 4 to 60 years, and supported by 20 valued non-riding volunteers, Salt Ash truly is a whole-family club.
The club meets 1–2 times per month, with rally days designed to be varied, engaging and educational.
A typical rally day includes four to five rotations, featuring both mounted and unmounted sessions such as:
Importantly, Salt Ash Pony Club places strong emphasis on proper horse care and safety education, ensuring members develop not only as riders, but as knowledgeable horse people.
The club draws inspiration from its President, Mark, whose dedication and passion are at the heart of Salt Ash Pony Club. No matter the challenges, he continues to strive for more opportunities for the riders, shows up consistently, and interacts with every member. His commitment sets the tone for the club’s supportive and driven culture.
Salt Ash Pony Club regularly runs fundraising initiatives to improve equipment and invest back into their riders. From Bunnings gatherings to social catch-ups, they encourage members to connect beyond rally days and build friendships both within their club and across other Pony Clubs.
