Elysha Sargent

Elysha brings a wealth of experience to Pony Club NSW, having worked in the equine industry for many years. From her early days in racing and competing up to 2* eventing, she went on to spend 15 years at Equestrian NSW, where she was involved in all facets of the organisation, including the coordination of major events such as State and National Interschools, Southern Cross, and Horse of the Year Shows.
Elysha is also a qualified FEI Eventing Steward, EA Medication Control Steward, and Pony Club Preliminary Coach. Her family are proud members of Cobbitty Pony Club in Zone 10.
As the Governance, Club Compliance & Executive Support Manager, Elysha provides organisation-wide operational coordination, governance support and club compliance oversight for Pony Club NSW. Her role acts as a central point of coordination between the Executive Committee, State Office, clubs, and zones, helping ensure compliant operations, accurate records, effective communication and the smooth day-to-day functioning of the organisation.
Elysha oversees and supports:
- Club affiliation and office bearer compliance
- Membership status checks and JustGo troubleshooting
- Working With Children Check compliance
- Governance records, meeting agendas, minutes and action registers
- Policy, insurance, WHS and compliance administration
- Executive and Council meeting coordination
- Governance reporting
- Grant opportunity tracking, applications and reporting
- Escalated member, club and zone enquiries

Renee Delicata
Communications, Digital & Marketing Manager

Based on the Central Coast, Renee is a proud Pony Club parent, with her daughter a Showjumper riding at Mangrove Mountain Pony Club in Zone 24. With more than 22 years’ experience in the creative media industry, Renee brings extensive knowledge across graphic design, photography, magazine publishing, social media, marketing, branding, digital communications and business management.
Renee also owns Australia’s leading youth equestrian magazine, bringing additional industry experience across publishing, youth engagement, sponsorship, advertising and equestrian media. She has also held volunteer roles within Pony Club, including Club Secretary and Zone President, giving her a strong understanding of the organisation from both a member and leadership perspective.
As the Communications, Digital & Marketing Manager, Renee leads Pony Club NSW’s communications, digital platforms, marketing, brand and promotional activity. Her role supports the organisation’s strategic objectives by strengthening member engagement, protecting and enhancing the Pony Club NSW brand, growing participation, supporting education initiatives and ensuring communications remain professional, consistent and aligned with organisational goals.

Jane Frankum
Director of Coaching, Development & Education

Jane Frankum is a long-standing and valued member of the Pony Club NSW team, bringing extensive experience across coaching, rider development, instructor education and equestrian sport delivery.
An accomplished Equestrian Australia Level 2 Show Jumping Specialist Coach, Jane began her riding journey at just seven years old with Cobbitty Pony Club. She went on to compete across a wide range of disciplines, including Show Jumping, Show Riding, Dressage, Jumping Equitation and Eventing.
Alongside her role with Pony Club NSW, Jane also operates a successful equestrian events business, managing a wide range of show jumping competitions each year — from grassroots and Jumping Equitation events through to top-level World Cup qualifiers.
Jane also has a long-standing academic role with The University of Sydney, where she teaches veterinary students as a casual academic.
As the Director of Coaching, Development & Education, Jane is responsible for the development, coordination and ongoing improvement of coaching, instructor accreditation and rider education programs across Pony Club NSW. Her role supports the growth and education of both riders and instructors, while ensuring clear coaching pathways, updated resources and strong support for Zone Chief Instructors across the state.

- Instructor training, accreditation, mentoring and assessment pathways
- Rider certificate education and development programs
- Regional Schools and horsemanship programs
- Coaching workbooks, instructor resources and education materials
- Mentor lists, Paid Instructor Panel lists and coaching records
- Instructor, assessor and examiner education workshops
- Jumping Equitation judge and penciller training
- Coaching policy support and education procedures
- Collaboration with Zone Chief, Instructors and Pony Club Australia

Events Convenor

The Events Convenor is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of Pony Club NSW State events and championships, ensuring events are conducted safely, professionally and in line with Pony Club NSW policies, risk management requirements and discipline standards.
The Events Convenor manages and supports:

Event schedules, programs and entries
Risk management and event compliance
Liaison with Zones, committees and volunteers

Bindi Oates is the Finance Officer / Bookkeeper for Pony Club NSW, supporting the organisation through accurate financial operations, reporting and record keeping.
Bindi’s role supports sound financial governance by maintaining clear financial records, processing accounts, preparing reports and ensuring key financial obligations are completed on time.
Bindi manages and supports:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll, superannuation, BAS and PAYG
- Financial records and reporting
- Invoicing, payments and debtor follow-up
