2026 Pony Club NSW Thoroughbred Combined Performance Championships

Pony Club NSW is excited to present the 2026 Thoroughbred Combined Performance Championships, held as part of Equimillion 2026 at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.

Open exclusively to eligible Pony Club NSW riders aged 13–25 years competing on Thoroughbreds, the Championship will showcase the versatility, training, presentation and partnership between horse and rider.

The Championship is limited to 60 horse-and-rider combinations, with just 10 places available in each class across two competition levels:

Silks – 60cm

• 13 & Under 15 Years — Sponsored by Rodney’s Photography
• 15 & Under 17 Years — Sponsored by Saddleworld
• 17–25 Years — Sponsored by Kohnke’s Own

Cup – 80cm

• 13 & Under 15 Years — Sponsored by HorseWyse Magazine
• 15 & Under 17 Years — Sponsored by The Sports Framing Factory
• 17–25 Years — Sponsored by Trailrace Saddlery

Each horse-and-rider combination will complete three stages:

Stage One — Presentation & Turnout
Judging the presentation and turnout of both horse and rider.

Stage Two — Flatwork & Show Riding
Competitors complete a set flatwork workout, which will be provided prior to the Championship to allow riders time to prepare.

Stage Three — Jumping Performance / Jumping Equitation Style
A jumping round assessed on the rider’s effectiveness, style, accuracy and overall performance rather than simply speed. Penalties apply for rails, refusals, run-outs, falls and course errors.

With six Championship classes, fantastic prizes and only 10 places available per class, riders are encouraged to enter early.
