2023 Volunteer of the Year Nomination

ABOUT THE AWARD

The Pony Club Association of NSW wishes to recognise volunteers whose efforts have significantlyassisted in the running and development of Pony Club within their Club and/or Zone. Incepted in 2010 courtesy of a NSW Sport and Recreation Grant, the Volunteer of the Year award is a means of sayingthank you for their hard work and commitment whilst aiming to encourage more members to volunteer their time.

AWARD RECEIVED

One member from each zone receives:

  • Personalised trophy
  • Acknowledgement on the website Honour Roll
  • Sponsor Product Donations TBA

ELIGIBLE NOMINEES

To be eligible for considerations nominees must meet the following criteria: –

  • Aged 13 years or
  • Current financial member
  • Volunteered for their Club and/or Zone a minimum of 50 hours over a 12 month
  • Nomination must be submitted on the official

ASSESSMENT PROCESS

An initial eligibility assessment will be undertaken to determine that the nominee has met the criteria and that the Nomination Form has been completed correctly and in full. Next, an assessment panel with representatives from the State Office and Executive Committee will assess all eligible nominations. Nominations will be assessed on merit and scored against the following criteria:

  1. Nominee demonstrates the attributes of a good
  2. Nominee provided practical assistance and contributed to the positive growth and development of the Club and/or Zone.

One nominee per zone is selected. In the event that a suitable nominee is not presented within a zone, all unsuccessful nominees will be reassessed, and a nominee selected. Maximum number of awardspresented per year is 28.

HOW TO NOMINATE

A member may nominate themselves or be nominated by a current financial member. Complete the Nomination Form below

NOTIFICATION

Winners will be announced at the November State Meeting & if not present, the award will be provided to the Zone representative in attendance to then present the award to the successful nominee. Recipients will be published; on the Pony Club Association of NSW website Honour Roll, in the December State newsletter and within industry publications pending publisher approval.
