Rider Notes

Entry to the grounds is via the main gates off Gwydir Highway , Warialda. 

DOGS MUST BE ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES

DPI NOTICE: NO hay is to be brought in from QLD as per the DPI. All Biosecurity must be met with spraying and hay.

Camping & Stabling

The yard list will be available on the link above and on Stack Team App, your yard number will be under your surname. Shavings are not provided for the yards, if you wish to have shavings you will need to BYO and clean out the yard once finished. 

 

Campsites are allocated, please see allocations list above. Please keep pathways clear so that vehicles can still enter and exit. 

 

Electricity access is on the boxes located on the power poles, you may also need some long cords.

 

Parking in a row is advisable and all cords should run in the same direction (ie along the front of the vehicles). Cords may not go across horse yards – any doing so will be removed, no questions asked. 

 

Rubbish bins will be located around the grounds, please use them!

 

Venue – Arenas

 

Sporting will be in the main arena.

Barrels will possibly be in the camp draft arena listen out for instructions in team managers meeting.

7:30am – Gear Check and scanning Starts for Sporting as you enter the events

8.30am – First Rings Start

Sunday 21st April 

7am Team Managers Meeting

7:30am – Gear Check & Scanning Starts for Campdrafting as you enter your event

8.30am – First Rides Start for Campdrafting

TBA: Afternoon presentation for Sporting

 

Monday 22nd April 

7am Team Managers Meeting

7:30am – Gear Check for Challenge

At completion of events and after pack up of rings – Presentation for Challenge

 

Volunteer list

The volunteer list will been emailed out, please nominate the time and job that suits you, this will also be printed and will be available out the front of the scoring office at the event. If can not make your time slot please notify us asap with your replacement.

 

Merchandise

Pre-ordered Merchandise can be picked up from our display stand from Saturday morning and we will announce times to come and pick up through out the day. We have some hats available for purchase on the day.

 

Rider Numbers

Rider numbers need to be picked up by the team manager and signed out and returned and signed back in by the team manager only. All Rider numbers must be worn during all events. Rider no’s are available on the list above

 

Gear Details

Please refer to the national gear rules for all suitable gear to be used at the event.

Gear rules can be found at: https://ponyclubaustralia.com.au/sports/national-gear-rules/ – as per National Gear Rules long boots may be worn by any aged rider. National Gear Rules apply to all events

 

Canteen 

Canteen will be provided by the local zone 8. The menu is attached. NO evening meals are available but will be open for Breakfast and Lunch and up until afternoon tea.

Please support the local zone by purchasing some yummy food from the canteen.

 

Warm-up

Your horse will be scanned for microchips before your first discipline and there is ample room at the grounds for warming up. 

 

Photographer

Kristy Bullen will be Photographing throughout the event _links of the galleries to view and purchase images will be shared to competitors on social media and in Team App during and after the event. Only the Official Photographer (confirmed with a contract through the State Office) is permitted to sell photos from the event. www.misskayellebee.com

 

Team Managers meeting

Team Managers meetings will be held each morning at 7am. It is important that Team Managers attend these meetings this will be an important method of communication.
